2022

We Met

In 2022 at Staffbase, Thembi saw Tadiwa and forgot all about HR rules. Our manager introduced us, apparently Cupid had joined the workplace. From that day on, we haven’t gone a single day without a chat.

2023

We Took Our First Trip

The moments that made us

Apparently, one country wasn’t enough to test our relationship, we added Turkey to the mix. We ate, explored, got lost, and confidently pretended we knew exactly where we were going.
Somewhere between the Turkish food and questionable navigation, we realised we actually travel pretty well together. No one got left at the airport so we called it a success.
And just like that, Turkey became the first stamp in our little adventure book

Every chapter has brought us closer and shaped the love we share today.

We Met The Parents

2025

In true Zimbabwean fashion, we knew things were getting serious when we met each other’s parents. The siblings had already approved the relationship, so naturally, it was time for the final interview panel. Thembi bravely faced Tadiwa's dad’s questions and somehow survived without asking for a lawyer. 😂.And just like that, we went from “we’re dating” to “these two families are now involved” serious, right?! ❤️

2026

The Beginning of Forever

On 15 August 2026, Thembi planned an intimate weekend little did Tadiwa know, he had a much bigger plan, he got down on one knee and asked the question! 💍
Her answer was an easy YES! And so, we begin this new chapter together. Praying that the journey ahead will be filled with love, laughter, adventure, and many beautiful memories.
We can’t wait to start this journey surrounded by the people we love most and celebrate it with all of you! 🥂❤️
